The pre-wired Road Traffic Light (RTL) has been introduced to the market to reduce installation time on site and eliminate staff working at height. The RTL is manufactured at our Southport facility and is delivered fully wired, including barrier warning systems and Standing Red Man if required. This is a plug coupled system to further reduce installation time.

Unipart Rail and AtkinsRéalis have developed a solution to enable Newgate barrier machines to be integrated with existing level crossings. The Interface Location Case (ILC) that has been developed enables the Newgate barrier mechanism to operate on conventional level crossing control circuits. Applicable for life extension or new installations. Newgate’s electromechanical barrier machines are engineered for superior reliability and to reduce maintenance cycles.
