The patented FuelActive fuel pick-up unit is a unique, innovative solution to the problem of fuel contamination in diesel engines.
The revolutionary FuelActive system replaces standard fuel pick-up pipes with a dynamic floating pick-up unit, which draws fuel from the top of the fuel level, ensuring that only the cleanest fuel is used by the engine’s fuel injection system.

FuelActive delivers Colas Rail significant savings with 4-7% reduced fuel consumption and four times longer fuel filter life. Maintenance is minimised, extending asset life and reducing injector issues.
The FuelActive system is reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions by up to 7% for Colas Rail UK. This is set to save Colas Rail UK the equivalent of up to 365 tonnes of CO2 in 2024, with additional reductions in the future as the system is adopted on a wider range of machinery.
