With advanced sensors and real-time monitoring capabilities, TAWS detects train movements well in advance, issuing audible and visual warnings to alert workers of an approaching train.

Unipart Rail offer Lock Out Devices designed to put the signals to danger to protect personnel working in an area from which there is no safe refuge.

Fabricated from stainless steel and is of robust construction in keeping with the harsh requirements of trackside equipment.

Designed to fit a standard half location, or to customer requirements. Provision is made for the inclusion of a boundary diagram to identify the boundaries of the protected area for each enabling device.

The specifics of any lockout system will be designed generally in accordance with Railway Group Standard NR/L2/SIG/30009/Z110 and detailed information provided by the infrastructure controller.

The Possession Limit Board (PLB) is a temporary track mounted warning signal used to increase maintenance worker safety

The Unipart Dorman LED Railwayman’s Handlamp is a fully approved direct replacement for the Bardic Lamp and is used extensively across the rail network.
